Welcome to … wherever!
There’s a popular short story for parents of kids with disabilities called “Welcome to Holland”. There’s another one written in response called “Welcome to Beirut”. The truth is, both are accurate descriptions. Sometimes you’re in Holland, sometimes you’re in Beirut, sometimes you’re in Italy, and sometimes you’re just at home. This space is for families to share their stories no matter where they are, and for others to learn from their perspectives.
